Katharine House Tree Collections – Jan 2024

Happy New Year – but act quickly to recycle your Christmas Tree in an environmentally friendly way!

Banbury Rotary Club provides on-going support for Katharine House Hospice.

Rotary also has “The Environment” as one of seven key areas of focus.

Consequently we’re happy to share information below (taken from one a KHH newsletter) about their Christmas Tree recycling.

Just a little New Year reminder…If you haven’t already, you’ll soon be taking down your Christmas tree, and we can help you with our tree-mendous fundraising scheme here at Katharine House.

Register today, and we will collect your tree for you, in return for a donation.

Collection dates are Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 January. Just leave your tree outside the front of your house and we will send one of our elves to do the rest.

What are the benefits?
• The Tree-cycle scheme is an environmentally friendly option.
• We’re working with a company who will use the wood chippings – the service is kindly offered for free by Acreman’s Arboriculture Ltd.
• We do the hard work for you! No pine needles in your car, no queuing at the tip and you can save on fuel costs.
• Plus, by taking part you will be providing vital support to Katharine House Hospice.
HURRY! Registration closes at 10am on Wednesday 3 January.
