The Rotary Young Chef Competition is one of several club activities that aim to provide development opportunities for young people.
In this case the context is discovering and preparing healthy and practical meals for family/guests eating needs.
Rotary, throughout the UK, encourage local heats (as ours) and then sponsor three further rounds in wider geographical areas until the National final is held in Warwickshire in April 2024 to select a winner who is awarded a work experience opportunity in the sponsors Central London Restaurant.
The Banbury heat is being organised by the Chair of Banbury Rotary Club Youth Services Committee, Bernard Goodchild.
It will take place at Wykham Park Academy Ruskin Rd on Tuesday 16th January 2024.
(The District heat is February 14th in Newbury.)
