In early September the UK – unusually – experienced a mini-heatwave with temperatures reaching or exceeding 30 deg across much of south-east England.
Thus it was that the sun smiled down upon the Banbury Car and Bike Meet (BC&BM) at Banbury Cricket Club.
A big thank you to all who attended and donated to our two charities for the day.
The Meeting was run with BCBM supported by The Rotary Club of Banbury and Banbury Cricket Club.
A share of the profits from the various stalls – along with the generous donations of both visitors and many of the exhibitors – produced a sum of £1150 to be split: half from BC&BM to ‘The Lunchbox Project’ and half from Banbury Rotary Club to Frank Wise School.
