Alans Africa – March 2023

Imagine you’ve attended school regularly and studied hard – but having got to GCSE you simply can’t afford to pay the exam fees. You will not only be unable to progress to the A-levels. You won’t even be able to show that you’ve successfully made it this far!

Well the story exists. It’s in one of our Rotary Supported schools in Sierra Leone and it’s the West African Senior School Certificate (which is their GCSE.) And how much are these fees: £19.50.
