Club Service Sub Committees

There are three in total

Sports and Entertainment Committee  does what it says on the tin.

Examples of events we have enjoyed recently include:

Autumn Weekend Breaks
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Club Quizes
Darts competitions both within the Club and Inter Club
Gliding, Golf, Horse Racing and club outings to a variety of destinations.

You can see more by checking out entries in the News Section

Fellowship and House Committee organises the weekly meetings, ie the venue, the catering details those Rotarians on duty etc.  Quick too say but its critical to the happy and enjoyable life of the club and its members.

Classification, Membership and Public Relations Committee again does pretty much what it says on the tin.

It manages the recruitment and classification of new members meeting prospective members ensuring they understand fully the time and financial commitment they will need to make if they join Rotary.

It is also responsible for the club Public Relations liaising with the local Newspapers, Radio and Television Stations as well as supervising this web site to obtain media coverage of Rotary events especially financial donations so that the general public can see just where their donations are going and the impact they are achieving when they support us. We also want to give publicity to recipient organisations.

They also produce the monthly club “Bulletin” for all members of the club listing future events, speaker reports over the last month, future speakers, member’s lunchtime duties and attendance record details and so on.
