Given the time of year the weather was pretty kind for Banbury Canal Festival 2023
Banbury Rotary Club members were there to chat to people about how Rotary.combines helping the community whilst having a bit of fun!
Thank you to all you lovely people who came up to chat or to donate to local charities that we supportt.
Rotary does run some huge international projects – like eradicating polio – but most of the time, money and effort from clubs members goes into addressing local need – often via support for other local charities.
We have long worked with Katharine House Hospice and we are currently also working closely to support two other local charities:RVS Banbury Dementia and a group for those with vision impairment called Social Eyes. We also try to support other local charities includinglocal food banks.
