My Life Story 25 th April
Speaking at our meeting on 25 th April was Banbury Rotary Club member Peter Fowler, who presented his life story. A Banbury boy, Peter told us about early life, his schooling and his initial ventures into the world of employment, as for many of us, a time of uncertainty.
Peter explained how he had intended to become a teacher however fate played its hand and by chance he became employed by a company selling and installing alarm systems, and he realised he’d found his career path. Over the years he built and sold various companies and worked his way up the corporate ladder. In 1996 he led a management buyout of a business that has developed into the Westminster Group PLC we see today. An international organisation, listed on the London Stock Exchange, supplying a broad range of security services and products to governments and organisations worldwide. The members thanked
