Dogs for Good were delighted with cheque for £1,300 from Children Singing for Children Concerts
The Rotary Club of Banbury is delighted to announce the presentation of a £1,300 cheque to Dogs for Good, a local charity dedicated to providing specially trained assistance dogs, including dogs that support children with autism.
The funds were raised during the recent "Children Singing for Children" concerts, where 22 local primary school choirs came together to “sing their hearts out” in support of children’s causes.
This presentation took place on Thursday, December 19, at the Dogs for Good premises, where Dogs for Good staff and some of the concert organisers gathered to share information on the profound positive impact these assistance dogs have upon the lives of so many families.
The donation will directly contribute to the training and placement of assistance dogs, some of which play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for children with autism. Not only do they provide companionship; they also help improve social skills, reduce anxiety, foster independence, and assist children to navigate many of the challenges of everyday life.

Banbury Rotary will also be presenting cheques from the Children Singing for Children concert proceeds to a further two organisations.
