On Wednesday 16 October a group of Banbury Rotarians, along wth some friends and partners, descended upon the Bugatti Trust.

Bugatti is a renowned French automobile manufacturer that epitomizes luxury, performance, and engineering excellence. Founded in 1909 by Italian-born engineer Ettore Bugatti in Molsheim, Alsace, the brand quickly gained a reputation for producing high-performance sports cars and innovative designs. The iconic Bugatti Type 35, introduced in the 1920s, became a symbol of racing success, dominating competitions with its lightweight construction and powerful engine.

The  Trust is a dedicated organization that aims to preserve and promote the legacy of the Bugatti brand, particularly its historical significance in the automotive world.
It was established at Prestcott in Gloucetsreshire and focuses on safeguarding the rich heritage of Bugatti vehicles, including their design, engineering, and racing achievements. It serves as a repository for historical documents, photographs, and artifacts related to the brand, ensuring that the story of Ettore Bugatti and his innovative creations is not forgotten. The Bugatti Trust also engages in educational initiatives, organizing events, exhibitions, and lectures to share knowledge about Bugatti's impact on automotive history. By fostering a community of enthusiasts and collectors, the trust plays a vital role in celebrating the artistry and engineering excellence that define Bugatti, while also inspiring future generations to appreciate the brand's remarkable contributions to the world of automobiles.

After exploring the exhibits the group moved on to some excellent food at a local pub before driving home - mostly not in Bugattis!
