What a wet start to the New Year! Hopefully, Spring is just around the corner and we can look forward to our gardens looking brighter and more inviting.
This is normally the time for reflection and assessment of any potential changes we could make to improve our lives for the coming year. It is therefore apt that at our meeting on Fri 6 Feb Members will be considering how we can make regular attendance more attractive to those members who currently only attend sporadically: more evening meetings, different meeting days of the week? The aim would be to trial any accepted changes during March and April.
As a Club we should not be afraid to make changes if we feel they are necessary, or to accept that some past changes have not worked and revert to old practices that we know work.
Others things to do this month:
Distribute surplus monies raised at Autumn and CSFC concerts;
Distribute surplus monies raised during Xmas Supermarket Appeal;
Finalise Helen Morris Bequest proposals and identify best solution
Anyway, let's look forward with optimism to better weather and all the coming Club entertainment events.

The routine meeting scheduled for Thu 23 Apr is cancelled as it conflicts with a major Inner Wheel Charity event that evening. So we will hold an informal meeting at the Cricket Club on Fri lunchtime. This will be an opportunity for interested members to get together on an ad-hoc social gathering. Bring your own food. We are supporting Banbury Cherwell Rotary Club by manning a feeding station at Leafield Village Hall on Sun 28 Jun 26. The task is to welcome riders, ensure that they are fed and watered, liaise with the ride control if someone requires recovery and to keep the station clean and tidy.
