Quainton Windmill | Quainton Windmill is nearly 200 years old, and is one of only circa 40 windmills in the UK which is still fully operational. A tour, led by an expert team of volunteers, involves a pictorial presentation on the history of windmills, how windmills work, the milling process and the story of the restoration of the mill over the last fifty years. Remembrance Sunday offers a national occasion to contemplate the service and sacrifice of individuals who have protected our freedoms and preserved our way of life. We pay tribute to the Armed Forces and their families, recognising the essential role played by the emergency services. Additionally, we honour those who have lost their lives due to conflict or terrorism.
Procession from the Town Hall to St Marys Church for a service followed by People's Park to lay wreaths at the War Memoral.
The Club is normally represented by the President who lays a wreath.
