Emma Teasdale is from” Healthwatch Oxfordshire.”
Her role is to continue to develop Healthwatch Oxfordshire’s support for Patient Participation Groups (PPGs), as part of the contract with Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
Emma had to cancel her talk on 8th July due to covid within the family but has re-booked for 12th August.
- Clinical commisioning groups are NHS bodies responsible for the planning and commissioning of health care services for their local area.
- Patient Participation Groups are based on a particular surgery and are usually a group of volunteer patients, the practice manager and one or more of the GPs who meet to consider how how improvements can be made for the benefit of the patients and the practice.
