This year everything is being done online.
THE TASK
To produce one photograph based upon the theme, ‘Colours of Nature’.
The photo must be submitted in digital format.
Mobile Phones or cameras may be used.
To accompany the photograph, each entrant must provide a brief sentence describing the relationship of the photograph to the theme.
Judging will be in three age-groups:
Junior: 7 to 10 years old
Intermediate: 11 to 13 years old
Senior: 14 to 17 years old
Any evidence of plagiarism (close copying other people’s work or ideas) will lead to automatic diqualification.

HOW TO ENTER
We will be contacting schools and clubs in the hope they will encourage pupils / members to take part.
Some schools /clubs may want entries to be collected and made through them.
Others may simply ask to be made aware you have entered and leave the application wholly to entrants and their parent or guardian.
In either case, it is essential that a parent, guardian or carer consent to the information on the application form and agree to the privacy policy below.
If you do not have a suitable computer or software to complete the entry form please ask your school / club if they can help.
WHEN TO ENTER BY
The competition will operate at Local (Banbury) District (Thames Valley) and National (UK) level.
The winning entry from the Banbury competition will automatically be entered in the District competition.
Here are the deadlines for photos to be received for each level:
Local Competition – 19th Feb 2022
District Competition -T.B.D.
National Competition 28th March 2022

This is how you send both your information and your photo.

If you open it in a recent version of MS Word you will find it has active boxes and drop downs that you can click on for your data. You can, however, type in the required responses whether or not the active boxes appear.
The form needs to be completed or agreed by the parent / guardian / carer.
This year we are asking you to paste your photo into the application form but safely keep a copy of the original photo as we will need this if you are shortlisted to win at any of the three levels.

JUDGING
The entries will be judged by a panel that will include experienced photographers.
The judges verdict shall be final.
