Rotary Supported Charity in the News – Mar 2021

Members will recall we recieved a presentation from the Charity “Children  Heard and Seen ” and subsequently provided some financial support.

Well, the chaity which works at providing providing quality services to mitigate the effects of parental imprisonment on children and young people, has been in the news lately!

You can learn more about Children Heard & Seen on their website and their FaceBook page.

With regard to the News Item – please see the text below to Banbury Rotary Club

Good afternoon,

Thank you so much for your continued support of Children Heard and Seen. I’m just reaching out to let you know about some of the fantastic national news coverage we received this week from BBC South and Look North. Four parents that we support were interviewed by the BBC about their experiences in lockdown and the impacts on the children they care for.

Please watch the interviews on our website by clicking the link below using your cursor.

As we return to face-to-face support and leave lockdown, we hope you’ll come to visit us at our brilliant new office space at the Hill End Residential Centre. We’re also planning on hosting our Summer residential here for children and families impacted by parental imprisonment.

Take care,

Ross Hextall    ( Research and Admin Assistant, Children Heard and Seen )
